Odin S.
About
Odin was born in 2008 in Zagreb, Croatia. He started playing guitar at the age of 12 and immediately began writing his own original songs, soon appearing on the stages of blues festivals. So far, he has written more than 30 authentic songs. He says: “I didn’t discover the Blues — it discovered me.”
He emphasizes that emotional expression is the most important aspect of music to him, and his passion for music earned him scholarships from the European Blues Union for the prestigious Little Steven’s Blues School and the Pinetop Perkins Foundation workshop in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
He represented the young forces of Croatian blues at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2024. He is actively performing, sometimes collaborating with musicians such as Matt Pascale, Otto Junior, and United Blues & Rock Explosion.
He first gained attention with his debut single “The Wild West War”, released at just 13 under the label Dancing Bear Records. Two years later came the powerful “Mannerist Blues” with producer Fabrizio Grossi (Slash, Steve Vai, Eric Gales) and co-producer Matt Pascale — a team that continued with the uplifting “Diona’s Help” and his most mature song yet, “Bottom of the Circle”, which suggests an album is on the way.
